So this weekend we decided that we would go out and see some of the sights up here in Northern Utah since it is starting to get cold, and we wanted to do something outdoors before we couldn't anymore. So we decided to drive down to Promontory Point and see where the Golden Spike Railroad was. We stopped and got a drink and were on our way! When we got off the I-15 exit to get onto I-84 we weren't paying much attention to what exit we were suppose to take from there and needless to say we went right past it for about five miles, we had to find one of those turn arounds in the middle of the freeway that says do not turn around here. ha ha But we did and eventually found our way. It wasn't the most exciting trip, but it got us out of the house and at least we can say we have been there now. It was kind of cool though to see the trains and see where the East and the West met to join the first transcontinental railroad to run from coast to coast. We also took a little driving tour where the railroad use to run! Zac was being a "Sour Puss" as his dad would say with his south eastern accent, ha ha and wouldn't smile in any of the pictures.

I like your hair! Is it a new do? I think that sounds like a fun day trip. Glad to see some pics on your blog.
I was going to say I like your hair too! Gosh we haven't seen each other in FOREVER! Call me if you ever come to St George!
Aw, nothing like a little road trip to bring you together. :)
