November came and went!!

Well November came and went! We spent Thanksgiving in Emery County with our families! We were once again able to have Zac's parents join us for dinner that day and it was great! I am so thankful for so many things! Our families and everything they do to help us out, Having a nice warm place to live since it has been -12 here the last week or so every morning when i go to work....a nice hot shower in the mornings, a great husband, and great friends! We had game nights friday and Saturday once at Zac's parents house and that just got a little out of control ha ha (they all know what I mean) ;)!!! And then we had Zac's parents and His brother and his fiance over for dinner and games at our house the next night! That also got a little out of control! lol We played Last Word...I highly recommend this game it is so much fun...we always play boys against girs! Scattagories, and apples to apples! I can't wait for Christmas so we can do it again! We also got the pleasure of having our friends Dillon and Aubry come and play games with us saturday night! It was so good to see you two! On our way down I was so anxious to get there so I could finally give Zac his early graduation present...yes I gave in and I let him have a puppy in my house! I am hoping that by the time spring is here Zac has a Job and we have a house with a yard so he can go outside! I LOVE animals just not in my house! lol But he is so cute and you can't help but love him! We got him a full blood boxer and named him Howie!!! Zac is in dog heaven with him! I have to give a big thanks to Robert and Kay though because they let him live at their house for a week and a half til we were able to come down! I don't have any pics from thanksgiving but I do have a few of the dog so I will show those! Since I let him have a dog he had to abide by two rules of mine...he isn't allowed on my bed or my couch! Jordan is nice though and lets him lay on his bed! ha ha I am such a mean wife! lol Don't ask me what kind of face Zac is pulling? But isn't Howie so cute?! Also, It was Chelsea's birthday sunday so I just wanted to tell her Happy Birthday! I am glad you liked Pippi!!! lol
Well that is all for now! I will have more exciting stuff later this week, Zac GRADUATES in the morning! I can't believe it!

HELLO November...

What have we been up too? Well not a whole heck of a lot! October pretty much came and went with us! Zac is doing homework out the Wazoo trying to finish up his last semester...yes you heard that right he is graduating with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1 month! Where has the last two and a half years gone? We are now just waiting to hear back on the 60 + jobs that Zac has applied for! Come on Economy pick up already!!! ;) Me I am just working....I got a raise and kind of a promotion I guess you could say! I am now Lead Counter Pro and I am just one step down from Assistant manager! I now work 1-2 saturdays a month and I am in charge on those Saturdays! It is kind of stressful, but kind of gratifying that my Boss and the assistant manager feel that I am able to do this! Selling car parts in a man's industry is kind of hard sometimes, its not like my Grandma's Carquest where women have ran the store for years and years and its not in a small town! But I am making the best of it and this last week I beat my boss and the assistant manager in sales twice! Yea for me! We went home in the middle of October for Zac's fall break I took a few extra days off, since we hadnt' been home in over 2 months! While there Chelsea and I made a blanket for our friend Shane who worked with us at Carquest and was deployed to Afghanistan in March! He is doing great and for the most part he has been in a pretty safe area! This isn't the greatest picture but it will do! We made it army themed since he is in the Army Reserves! I also took a beaded watch band making class with Kay and I have been making them ever since! I am thinking of setting up a web page and selling them...let me know how many of you would be interested in them! I am thinking about selling the bands for around 15 dollars a piece and watch faces at 12 dollars a piece! Not real sure on pricing yet but when I get the website up I will let you know! Here are some of the one's that I have made! These aren't the greatest pics because they are from my phone cause I can't find batteries for my camera! But you get the picture!
Also, while we were home over fall break my dad decided to take a ride in the Ambulance...Sunday morning we were cleaning up my moms house and I had taken something upstairs and while I was up there my phone rang...I answered to a panic grandmother telling me we needed to get to her house now that my dad was hurt and she didn't know what happend and the Ambulance was on the way...well I thought she was just panicked and meant my grandpa was hurt...so my mom was taking her time finding a shirt and she decided to try my dads cell phone to see what was going on and my grandma answered and my mom was like where is Kurt and she was like he is on the ground hurt! Well we followed the ambulance to lawrence and sure enough my dad was on the ground! We spent the rest of the day at the hospital...they thought he was having a heart attack but ruled that out and then they thought maybe he was passing a blood clot through his lung but they ruled that out so we aren't really sure what happened! He was Cleaning out the horse trailer from hauling cows off the Mountain and My grandma had helped my grandpa out there to hang with my dad and she was sitting him in the truck, then she was going to get him a chair when she heard Molly the dog crying so she walked around the back to the horse trailer and found my dad face down in the dirt! He doesn't remeber anything till he got to ridge road in price and realized he was in the ambulance! We think either Low blood pressure or Methane poisoining from the cow crap! I am just so thankful for Man's best friend! this dog is so good and this isn't the first time she has helped when someone is hurt! My grandpa fell down one day and she sat at his side til someone came and made sure he was okay... she is so protective of my grandpa! It is amazing the things animals can do for us! So that was our excitement for the month! We also Carved pumpkins and sat home for Halloween! I wanted to get all dressed up and do something but we didn't have anything to do! :(

Oh ya almost forgot one thing...my brother in-law Chad decided to get engaged in October also! He is Marrying Kennilee reid from Orangeville and they are getting married in January, Congrats to them! We are excited to have another girl in the family! Now we are just waiting around for Thanksgiving to come! I am super excited to go home again for a few extra days! Zac applied for a Job with Bucyrus in Huntington, about one of the only one's we have found close to home so everyone pray that he gets an interview and I will keep you posted on that! Sorry for such a long post I guess I did have more going on in October than I thought! :)

A September full of fun!

So September has been pretty busy for us....lots of vistors in Logan and not having to make the drive to Emery County for awhile! But I will admit I think it is time to go home...but that won't be for a few more weeks! Last weekend Chelsea and my Parents came up, Friday I set Chelsea up on a blind date with a kid I work with! We had a ton of fun, we went and had Pizza and went to a corn maze! The Corn Maze was fun, but I think it will be more fun when they make it haunted! Saturday we went to the Parade in Brigham for Peach days and then met my parents and went to the Carshow for awhile! We then came to logan did a little shopping and went to dinner, and had ton's of yummy food that day! Sunday we decided to head down to the State fair...it was a fun day and It was good having my family up here! It is tradition for us to ride to big yellow slide, Chelsea and I were the only ones that went though!

These pics are from the DWR display...we are all billy goats! Except for me I am the Crazy Billy goat! Every time I see these pics I think of the song on The sound of music..."The lonley Goatherd"

Zac was being a brat and didn't want his pic taken!
CRAZY BILLY GOAT!

I have slacked on the birthday postings this summer....so sorry to those of you that didn't make the blog this year! I will try and do better next year! :)
Wednesday was my Mother in law Kay's birthday....So a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her! I will say that I did get a good Mother in law and I am glad we get along! Thanks for all you do for us Kay! We hope you had a great birthday! Hopefully next year we will be closer to everyone and we can celebrate everyone's birthdays!

This weekend Chad and his girlfriend...(I hope that is safe to say and he don't get mad at me) Kennlie came up and we had ton's of fun! We just hung out and played in logan....here are a few pics from the weekend!

Chad always likes to go to sams club when he comes for some reason so we went to Sams club...All day long Zac, Chad, and Jordan kept tucking in there shirts and rolling up their pants and doing weird things trying to embarass me and Kennlie...Here is Zac and Jordan with Mine and Kennlie's purses....people were commenting on the attire it was so funny!

I love how Zac pokes his butt out! ha ha

We also went to the Halloween store...when we went to Vegas in December Zac, Chad, Jordan and I were at one of the malls cause it was so cold out on the strip and Chad seen this pink Gorilla outfit and he wanted it so bad, but he didn't want to spend 200 dollars for it....well we found it at this halloween store and yes he bought it! So he walked out of the store with it on! Jordan and Zac also bought these nice Mustaches....I will have to get a picture of Zac and Jordan sometime this week!

We went to pick up Zac's cousin Jeffery to go to wise guys with us on Saturday night...which by the way was the funniest night ever...if you ever get to see Shawn Paulsen the Hypnotist do it! He put on a great show! Anyways we picked him up at his sisters house and Chad was in his Gorilla outfit and he wanted to scare Jeffery....well he ended up scaring his neice Mckenna soooo bad....It was so sad she is only like three and she was screaming bloody murder and jumped into Jeffery's arms! It was so sad! But the look on Jayme and Jeffery and Payton's face was priceless! lol It was a fun weekend!

Labor Day Weekend!

This year we decided to Spend our Labor Day weekend in Logan! Zac's Parents came up and we were going to take their boat and go boating at willard bay...but it was suppose to rain all weekend....But it didn't! So instead we did a little Shopping, Went to Wise guys comedy club in Ogden, and did a little fishing and hung out and ate good food! It was a nice relaxing weekend!!!

Robert and Jordan...Jordan Fished for about ten minutes, then decided he was done! Ha Ha

Jordan Napping!!!

A Picture of Newton Dam...where we were fishing!

Zac Fishing!

Funny Story here...so since it was cloudy when we went fishing...I didn't even think to grab the sunscreen...well I fished for about and hour then decided I was getting burned so I went to sit under the tree with Kay and Jordan...well about ten minutes later Zac decides to finally catch a fish...the only fish of the day by the way! Well I am like "wait don't throw it in yet I need to get a picture of this"....so I take off running down the hill, next thing I know I am on my butt! I was so embarassed that I just got up and laughed! It really was funny, but now my arm and my butt are both bruised and hurt! Oh well at least I got the picutre huh!!!! Well here is our big catch of the day....we tease Zac that his arm hurts from reeling this baby in! Ha ha

Now it is back to reality and back to work! At least it is a short work week right!

A very BUSY July!

Well July was a very busy, but fun filled month! I started the month off by going home for a week, I met my mom and Chelsea on Wednesday the first in Orem and we did some shopping, Ate lunch at the Spaghetti Factory and got Fourth of July pedicures! Then, Thursday Chelsea, Jordan and I went to Price that night to have a girls night and get ice cream! We went to walmart to buy stuff to decorate our golf carts for the fourth and ended up getting into a silly string fight IN WALMART! Thanks Jord! We also, had a floating noodle fight, and bought these sweet glasses to wear on the fourth! Were lucky we didn't get kicked out of Walmart! We also, lit off sparklers and danced in the road and played wii that night! Good times! Love you girls!

We Pretty Much spent the 3rd and the 4th at the park enjoying all the activities and entertainment! The parade was great, and we rode the golf carts all day long! Then watched the fireworks that night! The rest of the weekend was spent with Zac's family hanging out and having dinner before Zac had to drive back to Logan and work the next day! The next few days were my time for catching up with old friends! Monday Night I went to dinner at the new Wingers....(since that is the cool place to go in price now) with my friends Alissa and Stefanie and Chelsea came also! It was great to see you two girls! We need to get together again soon! The next day I went back to Wingers for a late lunch with my friend Justina, and my cousin Tina also came since her and Justina work together! It was also great to see them and catch up! Then wednesday I had to come home! I hate leaving Huntington...I wish we could just move back home!

The next weekend I was able to put together a girls night out with some of our friends from highschool! We had quite a few of us there! Me, Lace, Leslee, Barb, Leslie, Candace, Ali, and Melissa! We met in Park City and Rented a Condo for the night! We ate at a great little Mexican cantina! It was so much fun and I hope that we can do it again next year! We missed those of you that couldn't make it! We are going to hopefully try and make it a yearly thing so mark your Calanders for around the second weekend in July!

We also Traveled back down on the weekend of the 24th for my Great Grannys 92nd Birthday party! We first started the day off by being in the Cleveland parade...we took the old cars and had a ball! We had a party at the nursing home and quite a few of our family and friends were able to make it! I know my Granny loved having everyone there!
I love this picute of my Granny and Grandpa!

Von, Zac, Dad, Clayton, Mom, Flower, Me, Jakob, Chelsea, Uncle Joe, Granny, and Papa!!!

Flower, Judy, Aunt Karen, Uncle Joe, Aunt Berta, Skyler, Granny and Papa!
Chelsea, Granny, and Me!
It was a great party and good to see everyone that came! We ended up eating dinner at Wingers again....then headed home to get ready to go see the best Fireworks in the county in cleveland! It was a great weekend!
Then we again headed back down last weekend for the International Days Car show in price...since my mom has us roped into doing that also! It was a fun day and our show is getting bigger every year! After the Show Chelsea, My cousin Kaydee and Zac and I Cruised the Valiant for awhile then went and had dinner at the Mexican place...not wingers! lol Then the next day we did a cruise to the Mine Memorial in Huntington and at the Crandall Canyon mine! It was a great July but I am glad we don't have to make that Drive again for awhile! Anyone is welcome to come see us though! :)

August has started out rough....within a week I have had two Bladder infections and The stomach Flu...hopefully that is all over with, so I can enjoy the rest of the summer!
I hope everyone else is having a great summer also!

Birthday, Crash, Wedding, Garden!

Well I celebrated my 26th birthday on the 3rd! I was lucky enough to be able to take the day off and meet my Mom and Chelsea in Orem for a much needed girls day out! We started off by hitting Nordstroms since Clinque was having their gift time and the bag was super cute! We then met a couple of my Aunts and Cousins for lunch, I wanted to go to Cafe Rio....but if you have ever been to the one in Provo you know it is impossible to have a good sit down lunch with ten girls! So we went over to the Pizza Factory instead and had the whole back room pretty much to ourselves....and it was yummy! After lunch my mom took us to the mall and we got Pedicures, this was mine and Chelsea's first time and I am pretty sure that I will be doing it again! It felt so good to have my feet rubbed and then have a cute paint job that still looks good almost a month later! We then did some shopping and then I headed back to Logan! Zac and I didn't celebrate til that Saturday! But he took me to Ogden and we went shopping and then we had dinner at TGIFridays and shared a yummy piece of Cheesecake! Then we decided to Go to Wise Guys Comedy Club and the Comedian that night had been featured on Comedy Central and MTV and he was really funny! I don't remember his name though! Zac gave me Bride Wars for my birthday and then for both of our birthdays we Bought a Wii! His parents gave us Wii fit for both of our birthdays and I must Say I Love it! It was a great birthday, even though I feel like I am getting old! Thanks everyone who made it great!
I know you all wanted to see a picture of my toes! Ha Ha but it is the only thing I have to show for the great girls day out!

A few weeks ago I was taking the back alley behind my work and I cut the corner to sharp and did this to my jeep! I am not happy, for some reason I can't have a car a year without something happening to it! I don't think Zac was to happy, because he just got done fixing the hood on my lancer! O well things happen right! It was totally worse than what the pictures show!

This is now what it looks like till we get back to EC in few weeks! One of our customers at work came in and asked me if I was sporting the "Cow" look on my car! I guess here in Logan the "Cow" look works right?

Well my cousin Kacey got married last weekend, so we headed to EC for the family dinner and Reception! Congrats to him and his wife Gilmara! He wouldn't give up his keys to the truck, so Zac, My brother Jakob, and My cousin Chad were trying everything to break into it! Finally my Aunt Kori went and gave him a hug and tried to get the keys out of his pocket! He finally gave in and gave them up to her and Said "Just don't do anything to my gun, or take my gun" ha ha! We should have taken and hid it, but we were nice and didn't! We trashed the inside with five bags of long confetti, ballons and a few other things, the outside had cookies, window paint, twinkies in the door handles, silly string, and seran wrap!

My brother thinks he is a Cowboy these days! Ha ha But it looks good on him!

So this year I decided since we kind of have our own little private patio out back, to try and grow a little garden! To my surprise my vegetables are actually growing pretty well! I planted Zucchini, Bell Peppers, Regular Cucumbers, Lemon Cucumbers, Jalapeno's, and Tomato's! I actually don't like tomato's but I sure do love fresh homeade salsa! I cannot wait for them to all start getting their Vegetables and Fruit on them!
I Know some of them look kind of sad in these pictures, but I just watered them after I took the pictures!

Also, Since today is Fathers day I want to tell my Dad and Robert Thanks for being such great Dads! Happy Fathers day! Love ya guys! Sorry we couldn't be there! Hopefully next year we will be alot closer to home!
Now I am looking forward to my week long vacation the 1st through the 8th of July.....even though I am just going home, It is going to feel so good to have a week off! I am excited for the fourth of July and to ride the golf cart all day long that day with Chelsea! ;) I am also looking forward to a girls night/weekend with a bunch of highschool girlfriends! I can't wait to see you gals! So keep watching for an update on those things in the weeks to come!
